Faculty, students, alumni and friends of the School of Transborder Studies are actively exploring and creating local and global solutions to issues pertinent to the Chicana/o and Latina/o experience in the United States/Mexico borderlands. Students become agents of social change and help us fulfill our mission of finding solutions for the problems facing Mexican origin and Latina/o communities in the U.S. In addition, our school strives to affect Transborder policy and social practice to promote individual, group, and regional prosperity in a globalized world.
Giving to the funds below allows the school to offer incoming students scholarships to a major in Transborder studies and provides funding for academic programing that focuses on their success. Any amount makes a difference for our students, faculty, staff, research and programs. Your charitable contributions enable our school to achieve the highest standards of excellence, access and impact. In addition to helping a student achieve a university education, the scholarships are important recruitment tools that help bring more people into the study of our borders and beyond.
