Latino Politics and Policy  (Certificate)


Did you know that Latinos are the fastest growing demographic in the United States? Through this program, you will gain a deeper understanding of the historical, contemporary, theoretical and applied knowledge you will need for working on issues pertaining to Latino politics and policies.



Program Description

This certificate program in Latino politics and policy advances students' understanding of the past and present political experiences of Latinos, and policy issues surrounding this community. Some issues to be examined include immigration, voting, grassroots organizing and other political players.

Program Requirements

Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 in order to add this certificate program.

Undergraduate certificates are not awarded prior to the award of an undergraduate degree. A student already holding an undergraduate degree may pursue an undergraduate certificate as a nondegree-seeking graduate student.
