Faculty, students, alumni, and friends of the School of Transborder Studies are actively exploring and creating local and global solutions to issues pertinent to the Chicana/o and Latina/o experience in the United States/Mexico borderlands. Students become agents of social change and help us fulfill our mission of finding solutions for the problems facing Mexican origin and Latina/o communities in the U.S. In addition, our school strives to affect Transborder policy and social practice to promote individual, group, and regional prosperity in a globalized world.
Giving to the funds below allows the school to offer incoming students scholarships to a major in Transborder studies and provides funding for academic programing that focuses on their success. Any amount makes a difference for our students, faculty, staff, research, and programs. Your charitable contributions enable our school to achieve the highest standards of excellence, access, and impact. In addition to helping a student achieve a university education, scholarships are important recruitment tools that help bring more people into the study of our borders and beyond.

Funds will be used for/at the discretion of the department to directly support students, specifically first-generation students with financial need, when you make a gift to the Transborder Studies Gifts Fund.

The College Assistance Migrant Program at Arizona State University provides academic support to students from migrant and seasonal farmworker backgrounds during their first year in college. The project identifies, recruits, and enrolls students from migrant and seasonal farmworker backgrounds to attend ASU. CAMP provides these students with academic, social, and financial support to enable the completion of their first year of college, and establish a strong foundation for continued success at the University. CAMP provides students with intensive academic, personal, and financial counseling, with the goal of continued enrollment and graduation from ASU. CAMP also provides follow-up services to our students throughout their university experience.
Giving to CAMP will help the project reach and support more students on their path to success at ASU. Any amount will make a difference in our students' lives, and your charitable contributions will assist students in achieving their goals at the University and long after.
