Latinidad Series Scholarship
Approximately two to three $300 scholarships will be awarded to students for the fall 2025 semester.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (high school GPA for freshmen)
- Applicants may be incoming freshmen or undergraduate students in the School of Transborder Studies
- Must be enrolled full time during the fall 2025 semester; minimum 12 hours for undergraduate students
- No residency requirement

Transborder Studies General Scholarship
Approximately one to two $500 scholarships will be awarded to students for the fall 2025 semester. The general scholarship is need-based only.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (high school GPA for freshmen)
- Applicants may be incoming freshmen, undergraduate students or graduate students in the School of Transborder Studies
- Must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours during the fall 2025 semester
- No residency requirement

Wells Fargo Scholars in Business or in Transborder Studies
Two students from the School of Business and two students from the School of Transborder Studies will be awarded approximately $3,500 for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Minimum Requirements:
- Business students must be in a degree business program or pursuing a minor in general business or small business. Liberal Arts and Sciences students must be a declared major or minor or certificate student in the School of Transborder Studies.
- May be graduating seniors in high school or undergraduate students at ASU
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Financial Need is required. Applicants must complete the ASU standard academic budget form and submit it with the scholarship application
- Arizona residency status required
- Preference given to first generation students. Definition of a first generation student is that neither parent has graduated with a baccalaureate degree from a college or university
- Students receiving the scholarship one year may reapply in a future year

Wells Fargo Transborder Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies Research Scholarship
Approximately three to six $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students during the academic year. Students interested in engaging in research/creative projects directly related to transborder, transnational and/or Latina/o and Chicana/o issues are encouraged to apply! ASU juniors, seniors will work with an STS faculty or faculty affiliate during the 2025-26 academic year to complete their project and enroll in TCL 499 Individualized Instruction for 3 credit hours. Barrett students working on their thesis (492/493) will not be required to register in TCL 499.
Minimum Requirements for undergraduate students:
- ASU undergraduate student, any major, full-time status
- Junior or senior academic level (having 56 or more credit hours completed)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
- Must select a research topic relating directly to Mexican, Chicana/o and/or Latina/o populations
- Must select an STS faculty or an affiliated faculty who will supervise research
